Eligibility Requirements
Adult Program Eligibility Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid U.S. work authorization
- Be registered with Selective Services, if a male applicant
- Adults who are:
- Unemployed
- Determined to need individualized career services or training services to obtain employment
- Adults who are:
- Employed
- Determined to need individualized career services or training to obtain or retain employment that leads to self-sufficiency
*Priority of Services status will be evaluated
- This is established at the time of eligibility determination for WIOA Title I adult registrants and does not change during the period of participation.
Dislocated Worker Program Eligibility
Have a valid U.S. work authorization
Be registered with Selective Services, if a male applicant
Priority of Services Status determination is not required for Dislocated Worker
Eligibility or service income test is not required for DW eligibility for services
The client meets the definition of “dislocated worker” under WIOA section 3(15)
